Our Story
Back40 started with a single quarter section of forgotten prairie in 2008 — land nobody wanted, tucked behind a family farm, quietly loaded with birds.
Two decades later, that quarter section has grown into three flagship sporting estates across North America — seven thousand privately owned acres of managed ground supporting waterfowl, big game, upland, and trophy water programs at a standard we won't compromise.
We keep our groups small. Our guides senior. Our dogs finished. Our lodges quiet. And we treat every guest like they've been coming here for twenty years, because eventually most of them have.
Along the way, we launched two sister brands — Blind Pirates, our nomadic waterfowl outfit that chases the migration from Saskatchewan to the Gulf, and Field & Flint, our heritage sporting goods line built and tested on the estates.
